Montréal, July 16, 2015 – Aviation Strategies International (ASI), a global provider of corporate-level strategic advice, management consulting and competency-building services in the field of civil aviation, announces that Ms. Jane Foyle has joined its leadership team as Senior Director, Airport Operations and Facilities.

Ms. Foyle has actively participated in the development of the Canadian airport industry and has over 30 years of experience in airport consulting, management, operations, safety, maintenance and systems development. Her work experience has included managing operations at Ottawa International Airport at the time the airport was undergoing a major transition from an outdated air terminal to a new multi-gate common-use passenger terminal building, and during the implementation of Transport Canada’s safety management system (SMS) regulations. In this capacity she was responsible for ensuring compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations and directing all airside activities, including airside and landside maintenance, winter operations, heavy equipment maintenance, aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) and airside safety program.

Dr. Pierre Coutu, ASI’s President, commented, “Jane is joining ASI with a solid practical expertise in airport operations and facilities management. Her credentials in engineering and airport management are highly pertinent to ASI’s global undertakings. Jane’s expertise will further strengthen our executive team and reinforce ASI’s capacity to improve its clients’ operational performance.”

Ms. Foyle has acted as Chair and Vice-Chair of the Canadian Airports Council’s Operations, Safety, and Technical Affairs Committee (CAC OSTA). She has also been part of the Organizing Committee for the North American SWIFT Conference, the world’s premier airport operations conference. She is a McGill University graduate in civil engineering and holds a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
